The fishermen |
 |
Two fishermen sat on the bank of the
river holding their fishing |
| rods,
hoping to catch some fish.
Suddenly, the silence was broken |
| by the screams of children.
They caught nothing, but the screams |
| continued
to come from where they least expected.
The current |
| carried down two children who were nearly drowning and were
screaming for help. |
|
 |
The men threw down their rods and jumped into the water |
 |
| They had just managed, with great difficulty, to save the |
| children,
when they heard more screams and saw four mo- |
| re childrens coming down the river in a desperate situation. |
| Although they were worn out, the men jumped into the ri- |
| ver again
but were only able to save two. |

| We have few hands to help the many who are drowning and |
| many go down the river in an incessant flow full of pleadings and |
| extended hands. We jump into the river and at the same time, |
| we search for those who throw them into the river. |
