The Leonardo History

A child more than special


	Leonardo is a son just full of joy and peace. He is fourteen now.When he arrived he
	was five but had the appearance of a one-year-old child. Doctors said he would lead
	a very limited life. He was in an extreme state of malnutrition, very thin, and with his
	bones visible through his fine skin. He did not have first teeth and could hardly ma-
	nage to walk.In his new family he received a lot of affection, love and special care.

	After a year the first fruits could be seen even in little
	things in his physical, spiritual and emotional life. Fruits that
	were the result of much prayer and dedication. One day
	Leonardo said to his mother he would like to have teeth like
	those of his brother Mauro, not managing to understand
	why he was different to him and not only in size, as they
	are both about the same age.

	Leonardo wondered how it was that his brother already
	had all his teeth while he still had none. The dentist's opi-
	nion was that Leonardo had had no first teeth through in-
	sufficient calcium in his body and he could not give an assu-
	rance that he would have any second teeth either. On a
	certain day when they were all praying Leonardo had a
	special request in his prayers. he wanted to have teeth.
	From then on this came to be a prayer request of the

whole family. Some time later he cut his first tooth. An enormous tooth, right at the front. Gradually the others
appeared and they were so many and so big that today he is blessed with a new miracle. After treatment from
the dentist and orthodontist he has to wear a brace.

	Today his life is normal and very happy
