Cairo
God's goodness is infinite, don't you think? 09/2003. Five days ago, this child, called Cairo, was
found sleeping in the streets of our city. He was very dirty, very hungry and cold. He had been
abandoned by his family. God gave us a lovely present who had a beautiful smile. It's as if it's
the smile of the Lord !
Rosana
Rosana lived with her father and grandparents and came to the Shelter Home,
because the authorities of our city asked us. 03/2003. The reason was (while
away from her relatives) what was the best thing for her. The goal was her
well-being Authorities decided that the best thing for her was to be with her mother, so Rosana went back to
her. Authorities also are accompaning her case. And we are praying for Rosana and her mother.
Ismael
We have taken in Ismael, one more victim of violence. The barbarities of everyday violence in
our city. Only four years old, he was badly abused and then shot twice with a revolver. There
doesn't seem much left that we can say in our e-mails. Our sadness matches the size of all this
abuse. Please pray for him and for all of us.
