Helpened Children
Some helpened children
R. and L. October 17, 2001
God has given us a singular opportunity; something very special and precious.
God has given us the opportunity to help people and specifically, to support
and help children for more than 12 years. This has been the motive for much
joy to us and our children. Unfortunately, the following report deals with the opposite. It shows cruelty that has
become commonplace and repetitive in many families. Such acts intensify more each day. The following informa-
tion was extracted from a report 16 pages long, about these children. It speaks of two children, brother and sis-
ter, who suffered diverse types of torture. For ethical reasons, their names are not revealed. The report deals
with a little girl, R.S.S., 5 years old, and a little boy, L.S.S., 7 years old. Consider the following and seek to have
in your heart the desire to pray for these and other Brasilian Children who suffer.

TRANSLATION JUDICIARY AUTHORITY OF STATE JUSTICE:

In these documents, we encounter one of the consequences of the domestic violence experienced within the fa-
mily, originating from both parents, which is a repetition of the normal violent pattern in their family context. Ac-
cording to some of those (witnesses) interviewed, the punishment imposed on the children stated below was
more akin to torture than to that of correction. For example, their fingers and toes were beaten with a hammer;

needles were pushed under their nails; their fingers were compressed with a pair of pliers; they were beaten

with a hose pipe; their faces were beaten; their hair was pulled in a violent manner; their bodies were punctured
with scissors; alcohol was thrown over their bodies with a view to burn them; their clothes were torn if they did
not take money home to their parents; their teeth were extracted with a pair of nail-clippers, at the slightest si-
gn of toothache; they were obligated to carry out.
Lucas and Raissa
Like Raiane, her brothers Lucas and Raissa also were examed in
the Medical Institute of Belo Horizonte, and arrived to our house
late at night, very tired. Please, remember to pray for these children also.

Vinicius and Victor
repeated stories , abandoned Children. The stories are always the same, but the bif difference
is certainly Jesus.
