through very difficult times.

| juries. His mother threw him down the stairs.

| Just to summarise, the social report about Jenifer stated.
"She is a child, aban- |
| doned by her mother who is 20 years of age. The mother is
preganant again |
| and is a drug addict. Her family situation is one of extreme poverty".

| today 26th February, my telephone rang; it was my wife Celida and she sounded very happy. She asked me if |
| we could accept another child into our new
Shelter Home. According to the initial information, it was a little girl of |
| just two
years of age. Immediately, I told my wife that we could accept her and I started
thinking iof the reason |
| why she had become seperated from her family.
I thought about some of our youngest children, Leticia, only 1 |
| year old and of
James (Tiago) who is four, and I said to God, "How good you are, Lord". At the
time, I was dri- |
| ving my car, remembering the many children we had sheltered and
the many occasions the Lord had helped us |
| make a difference in other people's
lives by sowing good seed in practical ways.
I think that, if one day, for |
| whatever reason, we forget to look out for the
children of Brazil, we will be lost. Openly speaking, it is very difi- |
| ccult to accept the things that are happening in these days ! Jennifer has a new family. |

| Josue and Jesse were also abandoned by their family and were
given to us |
| about 80 days ago (22/06/2000) . They were anaemic,
malnourished and sick. |
| Today they are happy and content
children. We met a couple a month ago, A. |
|
| and S. and they were
very interested in adopting them. The couple has already started the adoption process |
| for both children.lind.
A new family filled with love
The happiness of this couple has greatly increased. |
