Helpened Children
Some helpened children
Angélica and Vinicius
She is a young girl (photo) who is very sharp and talkative She was in our shel-
ter-home for more than a year Last year, (9/2001) she was adopted by a Fren
ch lady and the latest information we received about her tells us that she is ve-
ry happy living with her new mother. She is already speaking french fluently and she is now even happier now
because she is awaiting the arrival of her real brother in France. Yes, it's true ... Natalie has been able to obtain
permission to adopt Vinicius. The dream of him being able to live with his blood sister and new mother will beco-
me reality.
Daniel
Daniel was abandoned and has been living with us for more than 60 days. He
was given to us by the North protective custody court. He was very sick and
anaemic. Today he is like a new child healthy and strong . We've found a very
special femily for this beautiful child. The couple Carlos and Ivani already have temporary custody of the him
and the adoption papers are in process.
Bruno and Barbara
We found a couple who want to adopt them. Bruno and Barbara have been wi-
th us for 5 months and it has been very difficult to find a couple to adopt them
as they are bigger. (3 and 4 years old).
Juliana
Do you remember Juliana? She will arrive to live in our new shelter home on the 12th. February
2002. Juliana is a happy child, but her story is no different from the many that we have inclu-
ded in our e-mails. She was abandoned by her parents when still a baby, because she has phy-
sical problems her legs were deformed. Today, she walks with difficulty and she rund the risc of losing part of
her eyesite. She was brought up by her grandmother. We are believing God for another miracle to happen in
her life. In the interior, where she is living, there is no possibility of her having treatment. Her condition would
only get worse and she could even lose all movements in her legs and her vision. Juliana will arrive with her
grandmother, Maura, who will stay and work in the shelter home kitchen.
